农民工李不凡三十多年里资助了三百多名贫困生，这些人中有许多成为大夏顶级精英。现在李不凡年老后胃癌晚期，时日无多心中却依然牵挂着那些被自己资助过的孩子，不知道他们现在过的怎么样。女儿李小曼为了完成李不凡最后的心愿，用各种方法来联系当年那些孩子。The series tells the story of an extended family and four young people who are drawn into the world of ska and two-tone music, which exploded from the grassroots of Coventry and Birmingham in the late 70s and early 80s, uniting black, white, and Asian youths.
