データカードダスやテレビアニメで小学生女子を中心に人気の「アイカツ！」初の劇場版アニメ。アイドル養成の名門校・スターライト学園や、ライバル校のドリームアカデミーの生徒など、アイドルたちが総登場する。トップアイドルを目指してアイドル活動（アイカツ！）をしてきた星宮いちごは、自身が主役のライブを開催できることになり、ライブタイトルを「大スター宮いちごまつり」に、会場はトップアイドル・神崎美月のライブを初めて見た「スターライズスタジアム」に決める。ライブを成功させればトップアイドルになれるかもしれない大チャンスに、親友の霧矢あおいや紫吹蘭もいちごを全力でサポートする。。Oichi the Blind helps a woman escape the clutches of a high government official to go off with the man she loves.
