省厅侦察员劳爷（李雪健 饰）奉命卧底盛唐公司，做了保安部长，秘密调查“11.12副市长杀人案”，不料此时副市长祝磊（牛宝军 饰）在看守所自杀，先前口供也不翼而飞。不明就里的刑警卲长水（王志飞 饰）把怀疑的目光投向了卧底的劳爷。盛唐总裁饶上都（李强 饰）非常关心口供的下落，不惜重金贿赂法警，企图得到材料。由于劳爷的行动仅省厅主要领导知道，邵长水跟他配合起来各种摩擦，待案件刚有头绪，长水接到调离命令，他认为这是劳爷从中作梗。鉴于纪律，劳爷不置可否。 两个月后，长水返回盛唐。一个突如其来的电话唤走了劳爷，20分钟后，劳爷死于车祸。临终前，他在长水的手心写下了“谋杀”......。Bang, bang, you're dead.
