本片改编自古龙原著小说《边城浪子》，为1977年十大卖座武侠片。故事讲述「天下第一快刀」傅红雪为报父仇，万里寻凶，期间七名凶手竟一一离奇暴毙。傅与好友叶开多番调查，发现七名凶手全部未死；他们合力在幕後操纵，让傅堕入圈套，始出面联手对付，傅之处境岌岌可危……。Five young people wake up dead.
