将于3月首播的JTBC舞蹈竞演节目《Showdown》是通过代表韩国的B-boy们的国宝级对决，好好展现Breaking威严的节目。。沼田家是一个四口家庭。父亲孝助（伊丹十三 饰）和母亲千贺子（由紀さおり 饰）对两个念书的儿子给予了殷切希望。长子慎一（辻田順一 饰）学习用功，成功考上了一流的西武高中。这之后一家人又将希望全部寄托在正读初三的次子茂之（宮川一朗太 饰）身上。 然而茂之的成绩并不好，接连请了几个家教但收效甚微。正焦急之时，三流大学的学生吉本胜（松田优作 饰）前来应聘。随着这个有些怪异的家教到来，茂之的成绩开始有所提高…… 根据本间洋平同名小说改编。。The story of a young group of siblings pretty much abandoned by their parents, surviving by their wits - and humor - on a rough Manchester council estate.
