The strangers must rely on each other and their instincts while they are on the run.。公元1582年(万历十年)夏天的北京，怪事与奇案叠起。先是大明内库储银不翼而飞，从各地府县运来的大宗税银突然不知去向，国家铸银局的熔银大炉也因无银可铸而被迫停炉；接着便是被送入诏狱的两个江洋大盗神秘越狱，城外一个以做棺材为业的村子在一夜之间被杀戮一空；更可怕的是，一股来路不明的号称“江洋八子”的犯罪集团突然现身大街小巷和王公府邸……。《玉响》是以广岛现实中存在的竹原市为舞台，描写高中生通过照相机感受每日幸福生活的故事。原作是监督佐藤顺一自《卡莱多之星》之后久违7年的新创作，担任《玉响》剧本创作的是在《水星领航员》系列，《卡莱多之星》中与佐藤顺一搭档的吉田玲子。顺便一提，吉田玲子同时操刀了去年的治愈系黑马动画《轻音》的系列构成。这部动画的主要人物设定从6月25日开始会依次于每周五在官网公开。。
